About Our Online Self-Paced Training Course 

Two years in development by the Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services at a cost of over
     $200,000 (Funded by the Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati) Encompass is the most
     comprehensive workplace mental health literacy training available in the United States   

Our web-based course is made up of 4 modules containing video, narrated PowerPoint, workbook,
     PDF hand-outs and interactive activities. The course can be completed at your own pace in 
     approximately 7 hours 

           1) Module I: Awareness module on key issues of mental health in the workplace
           2) Module II: Information module on Depression Disorders in the workplace
           3) Module III: Information Module on Anxiety Disorders in the workplace
           4) Module IV: Solutions Module providing affordable, practical and effective solutions to
               minimize the impact among workers and the financial burden of depression and anxiety disorders 

Human Resource Professionals completing the course receive 7 credits from the Human Resource
     Certification Institute

All learners completing the course have permanent 24/7 access to our Resource Library containing
     hand-outs for employees, additional information on mental health in the workplace and even a
     discussion forum that is monitored by the authors of the Encompass Program

AstraZeneca recently sponsored a national survey of Human Resource Professionals who had taken the Encompass training course. Of those surveyed 100% strongly agreed or agreed that this training provided them with a better understanding of the issues of mental health in the workplace, 93% strongly agreed or agreed the Encompass training provided them with the knowledge of how to create a mental health receptive workplace and 84% began making changes in their workplace within three months of completing the program. Encompass Training Programs were developed by the Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services through a grant from the Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati. GCB has a 30 year history of developing effective work strategies for individuals with mental health problems. GCBHS is the largest provider of mental health services in the Greater Cincinnati area.
